New to forum and new to owning SHO. I have a 2013 SHO Performance Package that threw two codes. First was misfire on Cylinder 6 and second was P219B which seems to be related to misfire. That was the order they occurred as well.
I have corrected misfire by replacing coil and plug. Seems to be pulling better. Driving today code p219b appeared again without misfire. New injectors 20k.
Any help on troubleshooting? I have a very simple basic scanner tool. Any thoughts welcome.
P.S. I love this car.

Update: Cylinder 6 misfire has been corrected. Now just throwing code P219B.

Thanks for the things to check. Today I noticed the previous owner removed what I believe is called the noise maker. When they removed this they did not cap off the hole where it connected. Could this be a possible cause?

The problem was definitely the previous owner leaving off the cap on noise maker. Capped it and took for a spin. Dang near lost control! I can't believe the acceleration. Unbelievable. Thanks for the help. Greatly appreciated.

They probably capped it off but didn't secure it well enough, allowing it to blow off at some point. I'm not sure how you capped yours but I plugged mine with a Dorman 02603 Expansion Plug and it's snug. Even under WOT it hasn't budged. I also painted it black to blend in better with the engine bay.

Glad you fixed your issue! This car is a blast! 059b776afcc6b7b105a4adf3068b08a1

I was going to use one of these but was unsure. I used a chair leg small rubber cover. Now I know it will go back with a doorman.

Also, I have only owned the car about 2 weeks and it never ran like it does now. I knew it was under powered but I couldn't pass up the deal. Sincerely glad it was a cheap fix. Quarantine would not have been good with my wife if it had cost an arm and a leg!

Yea there's a couple posts on here about capping it and I recall a couple guys saying they used chair legs and it blew off under high boost. I bought 2 different size Dorman plugs and that one fit best. I also gently scuffed the inside of the tubing so it'd bite better (obviously cleaning out any dust).

Car is running great. But....threw the P219B code again. I went to install the Dorman expansion plug today simply because it was more aesthetically please. While doing so I found the clamp holding hose to intake housing was loose and stripped. I replaced it and we will see what happens tomorrow. Wish me luck! Lol
