oxygen sensor?

ok im at wits end with this damn car..... so originally i replaced my oxegen sensors about 5 months ago due to check engine codes 177 and 171 and at the same time replaced the thermostat and coolant temp sensor for good messure( from what im told a bad cts can cause a rich condition) anyway..... about a week ago when it started to get nice and cold here in wisconsin i started throwing check engine codes 171 and 177 and dont know what the **** to do..... the engine is reving when at idle to the point of it stalling(up to 1500 then down to anywhere from 3- 500)... there is gas coming out the tail pipes and a knocking noise when the engine does its ghost reving and the knocking seems to be coming from the front of the engine any help would be appreciated.... and it had its 60k done this summer by doug at performance plus .... dont knw if that helps rule out a few things

Does it do the same thing if you unplug the MAF?

Maybe one or more of your oxygen sensors came unplugged, maybe it is a ground problem... Just a few ideas.....

Unmetered air is entering the intake.
