The first time my husband tried to post a cl link his add was very rudely edited. And then when he tried to correct the post once he had realized how he was wrong he was just banned instead of anyone saying anything to him. And then when we followed all of the rules and posted with absolutely nothing to mention cl it was just a funny add that some idiot posted it was repeatedly deleted with no mention as to why. And then I was told I was no longer allowed to post on the forum....then they decided to remove my ban and to allow my post just to be a **** and make a statement about how I am being rude to Beth...my husband was admitting he made a mistake but then when I tried to post I was shut down. This had nothing to do with being rude until he made several stupid comments and would not allow us to post on the forum. I do not understand why he feels he can be such a hard a**. Are any other mods willing to step up and review this situation?

Oh my, please don't cry!

I'm sorry the simple rule that you can't post craigslist links upsets you so. Everybody else seems to be OK with it, and even those who aren't don't get all emotional about it. I'm terribly sorry this is so upsetting to you!

If you can't respect a simple rule of the owner, do you really think ******** and crying about it is going to change anything or earn you the respect of other members?

I gave you a little vacation after you told Beth she could go F herself, so now you come back as your alter-ago MRS (it's funny how all the whack jobs always have additional forum names at the ready). Maybe you're one-in-the-same but your estrogen level is extra high right now?

Really, it's just the internet. Feel free to PM Beth with your concerns; just be sure to mention how you think her craigslist link policy is wrong and that you're opinion matters more than her rules and what she should go do to herself.

Also...he finds it ok to post your add after you are getting ****** and then leaves a big f*** you and then closes the post so that you are not allowed to defend yourself or stand up to him. If the post was so wrong and against the rules why would he put it back up himself? (the unedited version)

.

First off this is Amanda not her husband (you can ask several people in the nw group. They know both of us and have even come to bbq's at our house.) and second you are the one who edited my husband's post to say "for beth to go f off." You are the only one talking crap to Beth. I don't understand how a picture with abosolutely nothing mentioning craigslist was on it. All that was on it was a picture of the car and the funny things the person trying to sell it put on the add. Tell me where exactly that was breaking the rules?

I for one feel that this should have been handled through a PM with Bizzy, Mr Anon, and if you want to add another mod, huntervf.

I will admit I do notice at times when the forum rules get lax from the mods, but its not that they don't care, its that they have lives outside of this forum. And then things do get a little out of hand, then they crack the whip and newer members cry a bit, the rest of us just realize that oops we've been messing up. And everything goes along just fine for a long time again.

If you have a problem about what a mod did, this is not the place to bring it up. If I remember correctly it states it on here somewhere not to make a new thread about something that a mod did.

A pm was sent to bizzy before mr.anon decided to keep deleting my post. He is the one who admited that my picture was not against the rules but he deleted it anyway. And now this whole thing has been way blown out. It just really got under my skin. We understood that Travis was in the wrong but there was no reason for my picture to be deleted.

"I've banned (even though it was just a temporary vacation for him to re-think attacking Beth and her policy)" Since the other one was closed I just simply want to state that neither I or my husband have ever said anything against Beth. When you edited his first post you added a rude comment about beth onto his post. I really think that is what is disrespectful. And this is exactly why I haven't been on the forum and I will never understand why travis is on it so often...This is just so damn stupid. And I will not be back on here anymore.

Simple solution, set up a "moderators viewing only" section and move any questionable posts there out of public eyes instead of moderators editing posts. Much easier, and no more butthurt from users claiming the mod's edited their posts.

IDK what happened here or why, but we recently did what I suggested on another board, and it works much better. Instead of seeing a moderator edit things, just make the entire thread go away. On the users end, if your thread/post goes away, don't complain.....

I've never had an issue out of the mod's or bizzy on here, and I'm sure I've had more than my fair share of stuff deleted....lol
