My outside temp sensor reads about 35 degrees too cold. (-3 when it's 32)
I have replaced the outside temp sensor, run the climate control self test. So far, no difference in outside temp sensor readings. Anyone have any more ideas?
Thanks
Bill

The temperature sensor's current output is dependent upon the resistence in the sensor. There may be another point of higher resistence in the circuit to the sensor, such as a corroded connector (ever wash under the hood with water?).

You may try disconnecting the battery to reset the ECC head. When all else fails, use a bigger hammer. I have been able to change the fan speed and temperature of the air coming from the vents by slapping a flat hand on the dash above the ECC or blove box. I noticed that road bumps were causing the outlet air to change temperature and speed. I suspect that this was due to a weak connection in, or around the ECC head or in-car temperature sensor. If it was in the head, you may notice a difference.

It's not science, but it might help.
