For you guys that are running optimas, which battery are you using, and did you mount it in stock location, or in a remote area?

I guess what I would really like to know is, is there an optima battery that will fit in the stock location....www.optimabatteries.com doesn't list one....

Red top, had it in the stock location for many years. It just gave up this spring. Bought another one but it went in the trunk do to a Vortec taking it's place. :)

I'm running the Yellowtop... I have it mounted in the stock location.

It's been my saving grace too... usually during the winter I'd have to get up early  to make sure the SHO would start. I had the worst luck with batteries. Sound system takes a lot :thumb:

I think red will do just fine for most people.

I'm also running 2 yellow tops in my car. One in the stock location, and then one in the back. It's awesome i use it for car shows and it'll easily last for 3 hours of playing time and then i start it and go home.
