Well I really bought this car to do as a show car for a sweet system which I've been piecing together for almost a year now. It's been on stand still a few times waiting on different parts, including trying to get the car driveable which was first priority....
Here's some pictures of my work, this is my first experience fiberglassing door panels, it came out phenomenal. I haven't figured out what I want to use to cover/paint it with yet though, so I'll take any suggestions on that =) I won't finish it though until I decide if I'm going to add more speakers or not.
My first idea was to put 6 1/2 woofer, 8" woofer and 2 tweeters in... but the 8's were being built and taking too long, so I decided to give the 6x9's a shot and see how they sound. Supposedly they sound as good as the components I had in there, which was crystal clean.... I ran 2 sets of them in my truck and wow is all I have to say, if they come close I'll be happy
This first picture is the start for my door panel template

The start of my box, it ended up not fitting in the trunk and I decided to go with mdf instead of particle board. The subs are 40lbs each, that's a lot of weight for particle board, but I did a double face and bracing later anyways.

Sub floor

Here's the bracing I used/built for the box I have in now which I had to build INSIDE the trunk, that was tons of fun lemme tell ya
I ported the box with a 6" port straight through the back deck... it should be frickin LOUD

This is the barrier strip I put in, I ran 16ga back, it's a lot easier to run than the stuff I hooked in which is a 3 strand 14ga wire made by Rockford. I had 4 sets of wires run to each side, 2 tweeters, 2 woofers. All was going to be run active.

Here's the start of the door panel following what I have completed so far, which I was able to lay some body filler "bondo" but I used evercoat
