Ok, its official...

Ive got oil in my plug wells. LOTS of oil. Obviously not good. Now, Im sorry guys but I havent really payed too much attention to all the posts about this subject so I have to ask, what does this mean and how do I fix it?

ok, this means the plug well seals are crap.

::temperary easy fix::
pull valve covers, clean well seal surfaces, rtv everything, reapply old seals -this is good for a couple months.

::true fix::
get upper gasket set. it comes with new gaskets for every part if the intake and valve covers, just replace everything so you know its all new. clean your intake while its out.

ther notes::
don't let this go for too long, the oil might get into the plug wires and the spark will not go to the plug because it will short out from the wire to the valve cover.

when you go to remove the valve covers you have to remove the plugs to get all the oil out. you can use many options here, a shop vac with a straw duct taped to the end, an old windew spray nozzel(stick straw in hole and spray into a cup), anything else you can imagine, i am sure someone has done. make sure to get all the oil out. after that there will be dirt inside, i used a flat head screw driver and a very stead hand and scraped it all out. clean the plugs and wires and then reinstall the new gaskets.

I used a wet-vac & a long tapered funnel to suck it out on my new 91.

On the cam cover gaskets, note the location of RTV beads on the sharp corner surfaces. Remove them, then re-RTV those spots only.

Um, hehe, um yeah y'see thats kind of a problem. Im willing to bet that its been like this for a LOOOONNNG time now and I just havent checked it till today. Maybe thats why the Dynamometer couldnt pick up the RPM's and the dude said that I must have some sort of ignition problem

Damn I swear, everyday I find something else wrong with this car!!
