Oil separator ends

I am going to use a oil separator I took off my G8, it holds a good amount, works well and bottom is see through so I can keep and eye on it. I am going to hook this one up on passenger side, and buy a JLT for the drivers side. Does anyone know what size hose, estimate of how many feet needed and more importantly the stock Ford part number for the end pieces. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I have also seen the 349 and 379 dollar RX and blah blah brand. Look quite impressive, seems like they work but I am not sure I want to spend that much. If I can use mine and trust it to do an adequate job, and I clean out the CAC, shouldn't this be enough? Lots of folks don't ever put one on, though I plan to keep this, run it hard, run superior lubes, and ad some mods and tweaks....any thoughts?

I think it's a good idea to keep oil from entering the intake. I have not looked into all the various systems and components necessary to help accomplish this task. This is something that I also will be investigating and looking into. I'm not sure about the Ford factory conectors, someone else may be able to help you with that. But I would say go ahead and try the G8 separator and see how it works. Sounds like you could save a lot of dollars if it's adequate. Yes the cost for the systems is high from what I have looked at which is what is slowing me down on purchasing. I'm all about being creative using plain old ingenuity to save money. Please let us know the results if you go forward with this.

You can use a heat gun to remove the ford factory connectors and install them on the new hose.
