I have an oil question that I cant' seem to find in the forums. I've been reading that a lot of people feel there are disadvantages to syntehtic oil - I'm not debating that or anything. However I've also read that you need to be careful switching from non-synth oil to synthetic. What if I want to do the reverse? The car I'm driving has always had synthetic oil used.. would there be a disadvantage to switching to non-synth, and any special way of doing it?

The only concern with switching from non-synth to synth is that the synthetic will pretty much try to clean out the inside of your motor. If there is any build up around the seals, it will normally wash it away and start leaking if the seal is old and not plyable anymore.

To switch from synthetic to non-synthetic won't hurt anything.
