Just picked up a 93 with 68k original miles on it sat for awhile and has some oil leaks running down onto the exhaust. Deffinately leaking at the valve cover gaskets as the plug wells are full of oil. Also planning on replacing the cam seals while I'm at it. As long as I am this far are there any other seals I should be replacing that are common leak areas? I don't want to have to tear it down again right after putting it back together. Thankyou for all replies.

check to see if the top of your starter is wet with oil. If so, you might want to look up oil cooler to block gasket.

To add, you are due for a front 60k. And even if the car had a front 60k, I doubt the wrench or the writer thought about the front main seal. You may want to think about adding some exploratory surgury to the agenda. To check, have a look at the bottom edge of the lower timing cover.

If the lower timing cover and the front of the oil pan are wet with oil, it might be difficult to tell if the leak is coming from the main or the oil pan gasket. Clean it up the best you can and drive it for a little while. It's best to do this inspection with the car on jackstands, but it's pretty easy to crawl under there with a pen light if you park it with the passenger wheel up on the curb.

Thanks I'll deffinately change the front main while I'm at it. I wont have time this weekend so I'm gonna do the valve covers and put new plugs in it see if that at least slows it up.

Get a torch. That crank pullie bolt was a pain in the A on my car. I had to use a torch to heat it up so I could pull it.
