Had a small oil leak coming from the cam seal behind the Cam posi sensor. Fixed that now its pouring from somewhere else worse than before...
Any ideas ?

I had a problem with the salvage yard 3.2 I got. Turns out that the PO had used sealer on the cap that retains the cam bearing and seal. In doing so the oil retun grooves in the cap were cloged causing presure to build and eventualy pushing the cam seals compleatly out. It took untill the third cam seal went out for me to notice the problem. Cleand out the oil return channels and now the cam seals don't leak. I have a front main and rear vale cover problem now.

have you replaced your V/C gaskets lately/at all? if lately, you might have rolled the gasket.... if not at all, they might have sealed their last seal....
can you confirm that it is motor oil, and not tranny fluid, or even power steering fluid???

I did confirm that it is motor oil. I too thought it might be from the low pressure hose or the PS pump. But unfortunately its not.
I still have stock cams, and I havent put any VC gaskets on.

I noticed on the way to work, it only leaks oil when I get on it hard. If I "drive Miss Daisy" It wont leak.
STUMPED, until I can get it on a rack and see where it coming from.

isn't a teen :D
removing the intake will give you a pretty nice view of the rear valve cover...using a small mirror, you can see if it looks like any oil has been oozing out of a bad rear VC gasket.

I had that problem (jekyll and hyde driving styles determines if it leaks or not); turned out to be my front crank seal needed replacing.

Edit: A good way to see if this is true, is to feel for oil under the camshaft sensor. If there is oil, there's your problem. If you didn't clean the sensor before reinstalling, clean it at this time. After you clean it, go out and drive the SHO, then check for oil on the bottom of the camshaft sensor.

yea i have the same problem with my car, it leaks when i get on her hard. But the oil seems to be coming out near the passengerside firewall part of the engine, onto the device holding the biggest pulley in the upper lefthand side of the engine compartment (when facing it)... I'm bad with engine part names, and i'm new to cars.
