Oil leak.

Ok, my oil pan on 94 ATX has had a slow leak for almost 2 years now, but it has now gotten much worse (lots of smoke). How hard is it to change, I know I have to remove the Y pipe but do I have to remove the starter too?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
