I want to know I forgot to drain the wells first, when changing plug's and went down in the engine. I hope I didn't hurt the engine when I had a brain fart? thanks for the help:nut::nut:

Depending on how much oil went down the plug holes, will depend on what to do. You can pull the plugs out, turn the motor over a few times and "blow" it all out. OR if not alot of oil went in..just fire it up...it will smoke a little the first few seconds.....

Just fire it up, and let it smoke out. It shouldn't hurt anything. Been there done that.

This thread is right on with one I was going to start anyway so I figured I would ask here. I noticed my 92 sho losing power and sounded like it was knocking at high rpm's and struggled to rev past 5K. So I went home and pulled the first plug in the front and the well was filled with oil. Went to the 2nd and the same thing, and sure enough oil in the 3rd as well. I mean 2 of the 3 were filled so much you couldn't see the plug. So of course there is oil all in my plug wires and its hard to get it all out and dried up.

I sucked out as much oil as I could before I pulled the plugs out to prevent oil from going into the cylinders. The auto parts store has the order the wires for me so I couldn't get those today but I got new NGK platinums. Car just seems like it is slow for the mods I have. Like it take to long to rev up..... even in 2nd. I dried up in the wires pretty well with paper towl and what not. But I know I need new ones. any other ideas of why it feels slow?

You need to change your valve cover gaskets and plug well seals. Then plugs and wires. If it still seems slow after that try pulling codes.
