Ok so im doing my valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and wires today. What im worried about is the small amount of oil i cant get out of the wells getting into the cylenders. I got most of it out but some is still gonna get in. Its up to about where the bottom of the socket sits on the plug. Will this hurt the engine when i start it again. I dont want to bend any valves or do anything else.

Compressed air and a rag held over the well will get it out. Then pull plug, and clean it. Wells should be blown out before removing plug because dirt and grit settles to the bottom and will fall into the cylinder when plug is pulled. The small amount of oil getting into the cylinder is no problem.

Yep--shop rag & long flat screwdriver works wonders. What's left, when starting, is a good mosquito killer on a hot day outside with no wind. The blue cloud has a good five minute hang time & will not harm your SHO!
