oil filter question

ok i had baught a motorcraft fl-1a for my 95 sho but it has been totaled i now have a 96 sho will the same filter still work. because i doubt i could still return it and then i would be stuck with a extra filter that i cant use

ok great..i have one other question. this car has been running synthetic is it true that its not good to switch back to regular oil.

I have done it with mine and it has 150k and have had no problems. Some will swear on their life that it matters, but I really don't think so. Oil is oil...

There is no problems switching from full synthetic to regular oil it's just not good to mix the two.

ok good deal then. i just bought this car and it has a small oil leak that will get fixed when i get the cams welded going to have ne sho do it. but till then..im changing the oil this week and going to switch to regular probly castrol gtx and going to put some bars oil leak in there and hope for the best till i get my settlement check form the car insurance company.
