I have a newly aquired 92 sho and was looking thru the factory service manual and saw that the sho model has a oil coller type tank built into the radiator. Upon inspection of my car i noticed that I do NOT have this feature but down by the oil filter is a rubber hose coming off the block and making a small loop before returning to another fitting just above the on leaving the block,I believe these are the oil feed and return fittings for said cooler. My question is---> did all 92 sho's have an oil cooler and perhaps the previous owner installed a reg. taurus radiator or do some come like mine with no oil cooler???

The built in cooler was ATX SLO models. The loop of hose you refer to feeds coolant to the oil cooler. The type of oil cooler the SHO uses is a sandwich style. If you look between your filter and block, that's the cooler.

The lines on the block are they at the oil filter? If so this is a water/oil heat exchanger. The tank in the radiator is for a ATX cooler.
