I'm running the cheapie $99 Aiwa deck that does the job. I honestly have no idea what's been bypassed and what's not...I know that I didn't bypass anything. The old deck was a Panasonic hooked up using the ford "Add-A-Head" unit. It sounds pretty damn good with the exception of those absolute CRAP 5X7's on the rear deck.

I want to replace them and I don't want to blow teh system up or have them extremely loud or soft, so I gotta find out how many Ohms they run. Does anybody know? knowing ALL the speakers would come in hany sometime, I'm sure.

don't worry about the ohms, any after market speakers would do the trick, i personally thing that the whole stereo should be rewired and use after market amps, but if you just wanna do speakers, any should work fine...i also would reccomend switching to 6x9's lot more excursion, lots more sound for a couple more bucks and a few screws
