Lurking
My 93 ATX puked all of it's tranny fluid last night, I came to a stop light, smelled burning transmission fluid, and got out and saw a nice puddle under my car..
I trailered the car home, and said i'd deal with it in the morning. I went outside this morning, checked for any obvious leaks (cooler lines, axle seal etc.)... couldnt find anything.
I started the engine, and started filling... I got about 5 quarts in, and then it started groaning extremely loud... I got to about 8 quarts, checked the dipstick and it was still slightly low... If I put it in gear, it starts howling and leaking (and it wont engage any gear at all)
I figure the trans is toast, although 24 hours ago it was shifting just fine, could this be just the tc or pump?
