Okay so I go to Speedy and get my radiator changed because the first 2 times I went there they blew out the seal that I had in the radiator, so before I went there for the 3rd time, the car would smoke. So I go there and they charge me about $350 for a used radiator. I was bull. You could tell that it was used because of the color. You all know how SHO parts are so hard to find right? Well it just so happens that this man who works there had a "new"(so he says) SHO radiator. I think its bull... If hes gonna be like that then Im going to take it to another mechanic who knows what the **** he's doing.

Save yourself some $ and replace it yourself. Try rockauto.com. $350 bs is way too much money. I got a radiator for no more than $150 from a place in Waterbury Conn. Good luck.

****, I'll sell you a used radiator for $30. You should be able to find a new Modine or Go-Dan radiator in the $100-$150 range at most auto parts retailers. It's a common part and not difficult to find.

Ok, slow down a sec......Dont pay 400 for a radiator. GO to www.radiator.com and buy the SHO radiator shipped to your door for 145 bucks. Lifetime warranty. Change it yourself, if you have enough mechanical ability to change oil or unscrew a beer bottle, you should be fine and save a ton. If you dont feel comfortable changing it yourself, take the newly acquired radiator to a trustworthy mechanic for installation. Labor might be 2 hours, but then again, thats what it took me and I am a hack.

The radiator in our cars is a common Taurus radiator. It's so widely used that Autozone has a policy of keeping one in stock at all times, about $150 +/- $15 with lifetime warranty. They carry a one size fits all GDI model that works equally well in the ATX or MTX (it has fittings for the ATX tranny cooler lines but if you have an MTX you simply ignore those fittings and you'll be fine.)

Exactly! The radiator is a very common component and not SHO-specific. Get one locally with a lifetime warranty. Pep Boys (don't laugh too loudly) had the same GDI (Go Dan Inc.) radiator for even less than AutoZone.

yamahasho225 where in MA are you located? Anywhere out west? I changed my radiator with one from www.radiator.com and haven't had any problems with it yet. A cheap replacement pricewise and they deliver it to your door the next day.
