Are you going to pick me up too? :)

................................................................nope. Feel free to drive the 14 hours here though. It is well worth it to see Melvin in action.

I'll believe it when I see it. You'll walk in, smell those chicken fried steaks, and b too tempted...

Actually I just prefer to stand period - when scarfing a lot of food. The sink is just a bonus as in the case of the pizza I had at the sink last night, the grease just drips right there and it's a pretty big target. :)

Guess maybe I'm in too much of a hurry huh?

You know, I am kinda thinking CFS again... :nut:

Well all that talk about chicken-fried steak kind of scares me. Maybe I will drive out for the swap meet if all goes well next weekend.

Swap meet is the weekend AFTER breakfast

Mel, when I eat pizza, I eat it over a plate. Then the grease drips right off onto the plate

Like I said, I will see how next weekend goes and that will probably decide whether or not I drive out there at the end of the month. It would give you another opportunity to make fun of my Wisconsin "accent". :)

And grease dripping off a pizza is just gross.

No no no, no plates :)

Wisconsin pizza has no grease? Just how do you eat something so healthy?

The only pizza I like is cheese (I know, it is a Wisconsin thing), which probably helps the low-grease level compared to a pizza with sausage or pepperoni or whatever else you crazy northeastern-ers like on your pizza.

well i am not gone from the SHO game yet

my clutch finally let go over the weekend, and after himing and hawing all week thus far about either getting rid of the car or fixing it yet agian, i have decided to fix it for the time being until spring when i will offically leave the SHO game

so not this weekend, next weekend me and tremblay are gonna install the new clutch and possibly a new trans to hold me over for the winter

this verdict was mostly reached due to the incrediably RUDE car salesman and manager i delt with on monday and because of that i dont wanna deal w/ another ****, FYI Nissan of Framingham SUCKS!

that is all

I wish I was disiplined enough to bank the payment I would be spending on a new car,and insurance and excise tax.... I'd be supercharged, turbo'd,and giggle gassed with a CAT clutch and tranny!!:) (yeah right)
BTW Mel, that thing I mentioned on the phone regarding the '93....didn't happen...sigh:nut:

That's too bad Ken. Patience patience patience. It'll happen. Give our friend a call, let him know your intentions. I'm sure he'll work with you. :thumb:

We're shooting for the 22nd, and it'll be at the same place (Walpole). Bring your Immodium!

However, if there's a place like that in RI, I wouldn't mind checking it out instead of the Walpole one. Maybe something a little closer to 'Chop so he could still get that beauty sleep he so desperately needs...

Thoughts?

There is a place like that in RI, on Bald Hill Road in Warwick. Hometown Buffet I think it's called.

If anyone's interested in this location instead, let me know and I'll get an address/directions.

Personally, I don't mind going to Walpole, makes for a nice Sunday morning "clear out the secondaries" run.
