Depends on what you are trying to do. What Generation SHO are we talking about?

Good luck finding Ford parts for any older Ford. I have seen them discontinue parts as soon as 10 years after production.

Not many, if any, OEM parts for that engine out there. Very few aftermarket parts available, too.

If Ford had an orphan engine, the 3.4L SHO is it.

OEM are usually of higher quality. I had a problem getting a brake caliper and brake hose for my 2014 F150 yesterday. Supply chain is still f ubar...mostly on purpose I speculate
