I dont have any close up photos before the zip tie. Of course. Because why?
Now I need to add more zip ties and maybe some sealant until I can get a new pipe.
Need to check options.

Double check and make sure it is actually cracked. Looks fine in that new photo.

I feel like its fine because the single ziptie is holding it together. I'll remove it and see if I can spread it by hand.

I have some good sealant that I can use. I'd like if I can to split it a bit to apply and then clamp it back together and hold with more zipties.

I found a non ziptie photo of the crack hanging out in the corner.
Luckily my phone took a decent photo to zoom in on. Ill include the whole photo.

Oh wait. This is intake. A crack wouldn't cause boost problems being pre turbo. If anything it would be sucked closed. Or if open too much cause extra unfiltered flow.

Top photo looks like a critter took up residence under your hood (looks like a mouse nest?). Check your wires for gnawing/breaks that would make the connection go intermittent. I had a rodent crawl into the engine bay of my Vette and gnawed thru a wire that made my AC stop working. Drove me nuts trying to trace down the "leak" when the day before the A/C blew ice cold.

This is a C6 Vette engine (don't freak out trying to place it in a SHO) shot of what I found when I looked hard enough...mouse gnawing thru the wires triggering the A/C to come on. I either read somewhere (like Jalopnik) or was told that at some point to be more eco-friendly OEM mfgrs started moving away from using petroleum distillates to using soy-based stock to make insulation for wires, and what we end up having is long soy-based spaghetti snacks for any rodent that takes up residence in our heated engine bays.
