Just replaced a leaking OPS and while I was there replaced the rear O2 sensor (replaced with bosch unit).
The OPS was not bad to replace..I removed the plastic wiring shroud on the firewal ad accessed it from the back while laying on top of the engine.
Took all of 1 hr to replace the OPS and the O2 sensor.
I was getting code 172 for a while and the car was running funny once warmed up. The O2's were both replaced approx 20k miles ago.
Anyway now the 172 code is gone but now I am getting a 136 code...Front sensor lean or not switching?...
Do you think that sensor just quit on me..seems too coincidental but maybe not.
Or do you think I have some other issue that is causing either the O2's to go bad or send out that code..but why would they not throw codes together?
