Ok, getting ready to change a clutch. Decided to look the car over and found something I almost could not belive. I'm pretty sure the people at ford that assembled my car did not do this. Some gibroni did and i don't know why. Could somebody enlighten me?

I wonder if that was someones way of adjusting the clutch cable. Maybe the stock adjuster is broken?

They might have thought that would help the problem of the clutch not disengaging all the way, if the cable was stretched that far. Or if the adjuster was broken.
