Ford only offers rebuilt units..

-again, not trying to rain on your parade, but i dont think youre getting all of the information. i need to correct myself too on the amt. these have been obsoleted by ford however there are still 7 rh and 56 lh NEW ones like yours, availiable to ANY dealer from ford motor company. not to mention the umpteem dozen showing to be sitting on dealers shelves. but, you are correct, thru NORMAL channels all you can get from the dealers now are motorcraft reman units. i'm just saying dont mislead by saying "this is the last of them" when it is not. anyone can still walk in to a f/l/m dealership and order them. do you have a good price on them? yes. is it the last of the NEW ones, no. :thumb:

Please provide more info regarding your statement 'these have been obsoleted by Ford' and your statement that there are still new ones available.
And please provide more info regarding your statements 'thru normal channels' and 'anyone can still walk into a f/l/m dealership and order them'.
Both statements counter point each other.
You'll notice I added a correction to my above statement solely on your testimony.
But I still have not miss led anyone as my info was true via a reliable source.
I must also ask you what part #’s you are using.
As both my part #’s are showing obsolete with no depo showing stock.
Please provide a ‘Does II’ showing your alleged stock available.

I verified this thru my friend who is a part/service manager for over 20 years.

-This is the statement in which i am referring. if anyone has been a part of a ford dealership this long, they should have known of the new relationship between FMC and OEC. Accessed by dealerships ONLY, they are the reciepient of all left over stock by the PDCs when ford obsoletes an item. this is knowledge availiable to any dealership. the quanity i stated is what they show on hand, part #s fooy-2552-A & fooy-2553-a. if you walk in my dealership and you want new not reman, i check status, if they are obsolete, i check OEC. if they have them, i call and order, have them in 2-3 days.....as stated thru normal channels they are not availiable, because once ford sells their leftovers to OEC, you cant order them NORMALLY, but they are availiable. most knowledgeble parts personnel should have be well aware of all of this. you should have had better info going in. hope this is clear as mud....:laugh_ti:

Price Update - Now $210 Shipped

My purchase price has increased by $10 per caliper (or $20 per set).
But I found a way to reduce shipping costs by half.
I'll still be shipping via USPS Priority.
But since I'll be using one box instead of two I can charge less.

Total is now $210 shipped.
That's $200 for the pair of calipers and $10 for shipping.
So ... price has increased by $10 only.

I have six pairs ready for shipment.
As stated earlier, the original boxs are not included.
Payment via PayPal or USPS money order please.

Gotta love the Flat-Rate boxes! I know my post office hates me, I ship clutches, flywheels, differentials, motor mounts, and other heavy parts in those all of the time!

Just found them not too long ago.
I'm only aware of 2 sizes thou.

Yeah, there's only 2 box types, but they can fit some parts in them!

Out of curiosity I contacted my local Napa for prices on rebuilt calipers.
They were $73 each and $44 for premium pads.
Add PA's 6% sales tax and the whole works comes to ...
$201.

what he is telling you is that your parts guys looks up the number given to him, the computer will say "na" Not available. thats what he tells you. Now he can use the locater and find several dealerships and companys that buy LO stock.

Fred Hrudder used to do that all the time "this is the last one" Yeah that Ford Stocked or Motorcraft had. Not that statement was correct, but because his dealer did the same thing. He told me once that "this is the last oil pump in the country" according to ford. I gave him a print out to where the other 56 were.

Its all in how your relationship is at ford and how hard they want to work for you to make pennies selling this old crap.

That price is very good for the NOS calipers. Now if you were smart and had time and money they will be worth 500.00 a set in 10 years.

Ill be sending you some money in a few weeks when I get done with my swap meet and other shit going on here. Yeah I know that I can go and get the same parts from my dealer and save. but wtf you already did the work :) Much eaiser in my eyes.

hey I have about 100 cores, can I get 35.00 for them? :)

Hi Kirk.

You are exactly right.
On my last visit I was informed they have connection to a company that buys Fords out of date overstocks.

As far as increasing in value over time...
What doesn't sell will remain in my stock.
And with 5 SHO's you never know when they'll be needed.

Thanks for the pending order.

As far as the cores, PM me if you are serious.
I buy sets that are complete with the pad bracket and Ebrake spring.
Without any of the above they are worthless as cores.

Kevin,

I received the NOS rear calipers today!:thumb:

Are they gorgeous or what??!!

They will really look nice with my '99 SHO wheels
& Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's, at least they will
as soon as my brake/tire man (my 23 year old son!)
can be motivated enough to get them all mounted!:hail:

ANYBODY who has an '89-92 SHO should take advantage
of these NOS calipers, even if you really don't need them
right NOW!

Thanks for the excellent packaging & superfast shipping Kevin.
Jeff
