have fun blowing your intake apart.....

you need a DRY kit.... unless you feel like doing a direct port setup.

hope you didnt spend too much on it...

no, as in your intake MANIFOLD.....

EDIT: the extra fuel injected by the Nitrous kit, will puddle up in the intake. and well, puddled fuel in a hot place=bad.... so when the fuel goes, so will the nitrous....

i wouldnt be worried about the manifold as much as a lean cylinder. but yea, you need to go dry on these engines. the manifold is so large and odd shaped that often a couple cylinders will run overly lean.

Your best bet is going to be the Zex kit 82011. Works well on the SHO's. I have one sitting here waiting to install....

Zex Kit is crap the only thing cool about it is the kit uses TPS to acctivate spray. The safest kit on the market is NOS's Dry shot for 5.0L. uses to solenoids, the second doesn't open till the fuel pressure is adaquate. Check It Out!!!

the Zex kit bumps Fuel Pressure up.... and it will shut off the nitrous when FP drops below a certain point...

The NOS kit... seems to be along the same line as that...

Ok heres the ****.

Wet kits are what you want on ANY engine. Dry kits make more wheel horsepower on the same jets as a wet kit becasue they run your engine leaner. This is also dangerous for any engine.

HOWEVER, some intakes, like those on our SHO's will puddle or pool fuel in the intake runners since they were not designed to flow fluids, only air. This will result in the Fuel puddle igniting blowing the intake right off your car and do a ton of damage.

For our cars, a direct port "fogger" system is best.

I built two Nitrous cars though, and I got sick of filling the 15lb bottles up at $50 a crack. By the tim eyou are done with a racing season buying all the nitrous, you could buy a supercharger or turbo kit.

Yes, they use whats called a HOBBS switch . It a presure activated switch in this case installed on the fuel rail or pressure side of the fuel system. The switch will only supply power to your nitrous solinoid if you have enough fuel pressure. This still will not guarantee that you will not run lean.
