just be gentle with the door panel and when you install it again jsut buy new clips dont reuse the old ones it will go in much nicer. The clips are a few bucks from a local car parts store.:thumb:

I found that a stiff putty knife works better on our door panels than the regular door panel tool. I have to get into my pass front. I works sometimes and then it won't... Pi$$es the wife off when she has to open the window to get out. I think the rod is bent a little from someone trying to get a slimjim or similar in it when it was abandoned at a gas station. You can see on the front edge of the back door upper pillar the black paint is scratched/chipped and the door seals are chewed up at the same spot on both sides... I think they finally gave up and broke the pass. window. I found the remains of the window in the door when I replaced the mirror...

I have the same problem on that particular door also. Only I did pull it apart and know what the problem is. My door handle has a piece of the plastic that holds the linkage on broken off. My problem is I can't figure out how to get the outside door handle off. Any suggestions?

You have to drill out the rivets on the outside under the handle. I replaced mine about a year ago, 2 bucks for a handle from the local pullapart and 20 mins worth of time searching for nuts and bolts to reattach it. Works great had no problems. Make sure you use a lockwasher on the nuts so they dont back out over time!
