Will 2nd gen non-sho headlights fit sho's? Im wondering because I want to get HID's and I did search on the forum, and figured that it wud be very expensive to do/order them. I found some non-sho 92-95 taurus HID's on ebay taht are more affordable. So will they fight?

The headlight clusters will not fit, but the bulbs themselves should (I don't know what bulbs they use, but it wouldn't make sense for Ford to use different bulds shrug ).

SHO and Sable front ends are exactly the same. The reasoning is to change it up some that way SHO's don't look like a sable or taurus, only a sharp eye will catch that and if they do they probaly know you have a SHO.

Sable headlights are different from Taurus headlights. The SHO uses Sable headlights. So you would need to find a Sable HID setup. There are people that I know of that are working on a projector setup. One is on the SHOforum and the other is on the superhighoutput forum. I know one plans to sell them but his project has slowed down for now.

how about this

You don't need to mod anything, just plug in and play to your oem headlights. It is made for the same bulb type. I'm hoping on getting these eventually.

Well I also like the look of projector/clear headlights better. James Downing got real gangsta HID's but he used BMW ones.

No he didn't.

Please don't use the HID bulb retrofits as the headlight housings aren't designed for them.

I would say total cost was around $500-600 bucks, and a LOT of time. The lights out of the 7 series should make an excellent donor projector for an HID retrofit, but you might not want to snag his headlights without telling him. I wouldn't want anyone to take out my headlights finger

why not? I don't think there would be any problem... they burn cooler, no melting would be involved....??? helP???

This place has kits for most of the popular bulbs, and in either 4100k or 6000k color temp.

www.xenondepot.com

This vendor is also on ebay. I know nothing about them, just happened to find the site.
