I had the pulsing when held in a constant turn syndrome. Everyone said i needed a new pump. 2oz of Auto-RX and a 1000 miles later the pulsing was all gone.

It may be worth a try, but the pulsing was due to leaking seals in the rack and not from a noisy pump.

I noticed mine was pulsing a bit too. I did a complete flush of the system and it has eliminated the pulse and quited down the pump on mine. Still a bit loud, but nothing to worry me.

Definitly flush the system before you do anything else. I thought my pump was gone for good (pulsing, noise, even complete loss of power steering)...flushed it and it is silent and perfect. $12, 10min fix.
