You made previous posts about 'her' feeling slower after BBB's & acid runners.
http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=96886
now you say you have noise after 4K RPM.
I suggested completely replacing the intake for a stock one before.
NOW suggest it even more!!
Do the BBB's have a new larger plate in them that seals well & do they open/close with no binding? Did you locktite all the plate screws?
Stock plates in BBB's will not 'feel' the same@4K. Loose screws on the plates will make noise untill they get sucked in to the combustion chamber & take out a valve & bind up a piston & then you will have some noise!

loss of power and noise after 4k is whole thing. i assume i made amistake somewhere in the 60k so i have started over to recheck all i have done. i might have to switch out the bbb and runners (it is the logical step as shobill stated) just hate to if i am over looking something else.

Did you plug the butterfly canister in after the BBB install?? Are the vacuum hoses on properly?

well its official i believe i am truely a dumb a**, While doing the 60 k i also painted my clipers and inner fender wells black and undercoated the plastic cover etc.
I was hoping it would help set off the recent wheel and tire purchase a little better (which it did)
iN the process of painting i had a really hard time removing the fender mounted k&n air filter due to stripped clamp. (i have what i believe is an older style air filter set up,it has a small alluminum plate that bolts where the oem air filter housing does ,then the air filter is a canister type that is actually under the fender well.

so where my advanced brain wirk has come to play is that becouse the clamp was given me problems i elected to leave it and was going to replace it at next air filter cleaning oil change.
so i decided to mask it with a small towell and some masking tape.

geuss what i forgot to take off????
even with all the bolt ons available no air (or low air) means low power and missfire

HaHaHa! now thats a classic OOPS!! now if I knew you were multi-tasking, I would of suggested you check that as I did almost the same thing-except I put a plastic bag over that filter!! Out of sight=out of mind!! LOL
