Noice coming out of engine comparment !!

Ok I'll start by specifing to yall.
Its a 91 SHO
1. I dont know what this piece is called so yall might be able to help with this!
(The black rectangula box that seats on top of the radiator, the one that has a connector about 4 inches long and requires a bolt to un plug)

Any way this box makes a loud noice every now and then, most of the times while the key isn't even in the ignition.
Its a loud whiny noice coming out of it I also hear it from the middle ingector from the front. (only hear both at the same time not one at a time)

This car is trying to comiye sucide before i sell it.

thats ur IRCM/CCRM controls fuel pump, fans, and i forget what all else

not sure what would cause the noise....mayb on its way out......hopefully someone with a better idea will chime in soon

I should have mentioned that I have an 89 SHO that I use for parts and as soon as I heard the noice I swiched the boxes from my 89 to my 91 and it still made the same noice.
While the noice was going on I whent to open the door from the driver side so that I can open the hood and as soon as I opened the door the noice stoped !

How about a ground short some were?

my first 89 done that, but it wouldnt fire when i bought it, replaced ignition module and never had any more problems, or maybe i just didnt notice the noise

id try to just to c what happens, if u can find one cheap.......im not 100% but im pretty sure it has to b the same letter tho

Also about 3 days before the noice started the batterie light stays on after I turn the car off.
Is this related?

I changed the Altenator and the light went away !
I havent heard the IRCM/CCRM act up yet !
