well i was driving down the 401 here in Ontario with my 91 SHO PLUS and al of a sudden the car was jumping and i had no tach so i pulled over and it started to run great.???
So i continues driving. Never happened again in 250k since it happened
but before it would cut put sometimes just driving steady. All plugs and wires are brand new. Could this be the DIS module????

You said the car was jumping...you mean like a bucking like some jerking forward and back? If yes then it's the CMP (Camshaft Position Sensor) going out.

Bucking without dieing and no tach is usually the cam sensor.

Bucking and dieing is usually the crank sensor.

Not hard at all. Two small bolts, 5.5mm?, and the electrical connector. After you get to it that is.

I donno for sure but I thought that the cam sensor was for starting the car only. If you unplug the sensor the car will still start with a long crank and still run.
