Hi everyone. The last few years I have owned V8's, but as luck would have it I was able to purchase my old Plus back that I sold ten years ago. Always loved that car and was sad when I had to sell it. Anywho, Ive been searching the posts for a couple days, and cant seem to find an issue like mine. Im pretty sure I have a wiring issue, but just though I would throw this out there before I spend the whole weekend going through the harness.
I have no spark, and no injector firing. Pump primes up and rail is pressurized. Did the crank sensor, and scan tool shows signal coming from it. Also communicating with the Puter, so Im going with it being good. swapped out 3 different DIS modules, one or two of which I know for sure are good. coilpack has power to it. Swapped out cam sensor with known good one, no change. ECM has power and ground. I have printed off the schematic for engine and harness wiring. Im pretty sure my next step after work today will be to see if the grounding signal for the injectors is coming outta the harness at the ECM, and also to check the harness at the coilpack to see if the signal is getting there. Anyone ever come across this issue of no spark or inj ground at the same time? Im just wondering if there is a common spot where the harness may be corroded etc. Thanks
