no start and stalling

ok i am having problems and so is the mechanic working on the car it will not start after short trips intermitantly if left for 20-60min will start however will sometimes stall and not restart after. i have always had long crank times but when this hapens it will only turn over does not even try to sart just cranks and cranks. car has new battery and alternator and has no lack of power just will not fire. any help would be greatly apreciated thanx

CPS (crank shaft position sensor) check that and maybe ur DIS but i doubt that. stalling is often associated with CPS they stall and like a half hour later starts right back up thats how you made your car sound so have that checked out/ bad CPS doesn't make the check engine like come on.

A failing CPS can show a blink of the CHECK ENGINE light and set an EEC error code if it fails while the engine is running (it did for me). It would benefit you to check the codes. Learn how from the links in my signature. And if you get a code, the PIP (profile ignition pickup) sensor is the crankshaft position sensor. AutoZone, Wells SU242, $34.99.
