No sound (aftermarket receiver)

Ok .... First I am terrible with electronics <-- got that out of the way upfront.

I bought an aftermarket receiver from Crutchfield and it came with excellent instructions for power, ant etc... and these RCA type plug n play connector for the speakers.

Now after wiring it everything EXCEPT the sound works ????? I was able to find this searching the forum and it states "unplug or bypass the amp" however I have no idea how to bypass ?
