No rear driving lights or license plate lights

I have a brake, reverse, turn signal lights, but no rear driving or license plate lights. I recently changed to LED lights in the license plate, which worked great for a couple of days. Now they are out along with the rear driving lights. I changed back to the OEM bulbs in the license plate, that did not solve the issue. The fuse diagram in the owner's manual shows, the backlighting, interior lights, and puddle lights are controlled by fuse #12. My interior and puddle lights are still working. So the fuse may not be the issue. I have not physically checked that fuse yet. The fuse box is in a ridiculous location! Not sure how to properly remove the kick panel under the steering wheel for possibly easier access. Don't want to break something trying to remove the panel. Any suggestions on a DIY fix before I take it to the dealership for a costly repair when I should be to fix it myself.

Fuse panel is a pain to get to. Fuse 12 is interior lighting only, try Fuse 40 for tail lights. I actually just posted schematics for a 2013 in anther post (I think 2013 is the same as 2015, but I cant guarantee it) https://shoforum.com/index.php?threads/2015-sho-tail-lights-not-working.143579/

Shadow thanks for your input. Definitely, was fuse #40 and not #12. My owner's manual sure had me going in circles. Now I'm still concerned about why the fuse was tripped. And I'm a little leery in replacing my license plate bulbs back with LED's since thats how this orginal situation seems to have started in the first place. I have orginal OEM bulbs in there now. Any thoughts? I wanted to change all the interior lights and puddle lights to LED. I have got second thoughts now! Any feedback, or issues that some other members might have experienced exchanging OEM to LED? Thanks again for your help!

I am using LED for my plate lights. I bought the puddle lights from Drive Bright (Brite?) Lights and they came with festoon bulbs for the plates. No problems so far. In theory, LED should draw less amps. The only issue I have run into so far is if you change all 3 bulbs to LED in the overhead interior lights (backseat/above the front seat shoulder) they will stay on. You can either leave the center bulb incandescent or I believe someone had a fix using a resistor.
