No OIL in engine is VERY BAD

Ok. Car died twice on the way home. Oil light came on twice. Car died both times too, didn't seize just lost power to everything. Started up fine, got home, checked oil...NO OIL. Maybe the littlest drop on the dip stick of oil. So...what oil should I go with? The car is doin fine.

You'll hear alot on this one. Do a search as well since this is always a hotly debated topic. You will find that Castrol GTX will get most of the votes. 10w-30 or 5w-30.

Where did the oil go? find out before putting more in. Also don't be so sure that there isn't any damage. Running at even idle with NO oil is going to F*ck something up.
