Y'all are panzies.. i ran with a leaky y-pipe only.. no exhaust back. loud as **** and ****** alot of people off... granted the exhaust rotted off of the y-pipe and the y-pipe was rotting of the manifold.... lol

if you had a car with some real performance mufflers on it, you'd probably be much happier........ cut off mufflers sound ghetto as ****... and you can't really argue that.... there is no other way around it.... it sounds like SHIT.. hey some people like shit tho

I have to admit I am a fan of straight exhaust, o and the top end is stronger.
Yeah if it's a 454 with good headers and 3" straights all the way back!

hey nothing wrong with loud exhaust...... get some real mufflers that are loud and have a decent sounding, loud exhaust....... unless you have a radically cam'd v8 with long tube headers, then you can get away with no mufflers, everyone will love how it sounds........ I don't think his SHO has that
cutting off the mufflers is not the answer if u want your SHO louder..... why not just blow out all the windows in it, cut out the floor, and then it will get even louder...... I bet you won't do that... why? cause its stupid... but it'll make it louder...... see same shit as cutting off your mufflers
the stock catback has hangers back by the strut rod box on the driver side and one back by the control arm box in the middle of the car towards the rear.... plus the muffler hangers

Get Magnaflows. I haven't heard any better sounding muffler for the SHO. I run them personally.

Well... i had some cheapy thrush turbos.. those didnt sound all that bad. Just sounds like a typical SHO maybe a little louder

My straights are also temporary since I couldn't get quality mufflers at the time (I have only been running them since December).
I have been looking at Magnaflows for a while now they might just be on my SHO during spring time it's to dang cold to be out there right now.

LOL, I have no mufflers or resonator right now. Its LOUD, like ricer stupid **** loud. Good thing the new set is going on soon. Its also RASPY and causes A LOT of vibration in the cabin, drives me nuts.

I have dynamax now, and its too quiet for me. my white car had mags on it and i liked those. once i get my catless y on the blue car ill decide if im going to go without mufflers or with Mags.

No mufflers? I run stock manifolds to a gutted Magnaflow Y-pipe, then 2.5" pipe to the bumper.
