I think we should have safety inspections. I had a 94 Ford Exploder in my shop the other day that had the air bags taped back in thier spots becasue she hit something and popped them . I told her she shouldn't be driving it, and we don't work on cars that are unsafe to drive. Boy did she get ******. Most of the cars that are on the road that do the most poluting are the cars that are not safe to be on the road.

I completely agree... if we have the safety inspections, 90% of the cars that are polluting the most will be taken off the roads anyway

My mom works at the DMV (she's been there for a good 10 years or so). A few months ago she called me to ask if I wanted my car's registration chaned back to where I live (Waukesha county, with emissions testing). She said that they had had a meeting where it was explained that cops would be performing random checks on houses where cars are registered in non-emissions counties, but the person lives in an emissions county. If they spot that car in your driveway, they will give you a ticket which carries a hefty fine - I think my mom said it was about $490.

My thoughts exactly, also they just ask what county it is primarily driven in, not what county you keep it in so I put Dane not Waukesha and no emissions for me

Last check, the Prius were all over dealer lots. Last year they couldn't keep em. Remember gas was well into the $3's. It's creepin up again.

if they keep selling the priusei (idk the technical plural of prius) then the price of gas would go down due to less consumption, which would make me, at least, happy as all heck

You're not getting what I'm saying. They will drive to YOUR place of residence and look at YOUR cars that are registered to YOUR name. Obviously they understand that people drive their cars around to various counties.

so honestly... cops are getting so ******* *** that they have to come to your house and bust you not as its bad enough that they sit on the ******* road and watch for speeders cuz there so dam bored...if there really getting that bored maybe there are to many of them and they should lay some of them off... i have this thing with cops... cuz most of them are *** around here... and just my experience with them

speeding is slowly decaying our society... first its speeding, then armed robbery and rape... plus there is a great difference in danger between 65 and 70 MPH, so dont take those police officers on the side of the road for granted.. theyre preventing future rapes and robberies

HAhaha oh yeah What about no front liscense plates??? bastards got me as i was transferring my car from the shop to griffan ford. Looks like i get some recall work done... hmm any thoughts on what i should do with the ticket? could sure use some TP at work...
