I saw a guy with a SHO with Thor hood up. Stopped and ask what he was up too and he said cleaning the maps? Ask I don't hear well but she would like to know what he was talking about and wondering if there is something I should be doing to mine. Thanks for helping the non mechanical SHO lover.

Make sure to read up (a few times) on how to clean them. Easy to mess up if not cleaned properly with right spray.

Use CRC MAF sensor cleaner and you will be golden. I would definitely disconnect the wiring first tho, and maybe do a KAM reset after.

So if you have two map sensors do you have to replace both of them if you add a tune to the car, or only the one on the center of the motor, and what is a KAM reset. Have a great day all.

Not sure on KAM reset (maybe remove the battery leads or something?), but you only have to replace the MAP sensor on top of the intake manifold, as that's the only 2bar sensor. The one just before the TB is already a 3bar.

What are the symptoms that indicate the MAPs need cleaning and how often should his be done?
