First discovered a problem as I got behind a shiny bumpered Tahoe and didn't see my DRL's reflecting back. When I looked at my dash the high beam indicator was dimly glowing. Later theat night I took off and discovered that I had no high beams. Thinking "ah-hah" I checked the fuse for the high beams but it was good as was the fuse under the hood for DRL. Low beams work fine and all the auxilary lighting works fine.

Ditto. Pull the DRL fuse. There's no sense replacing it because it will only fail again a couple of years from now. POS British electronics (made by Lucas).

The plug fell out of the DRL's module. The locking clip broka off a couple of years ago. Took a while to have it vibrate out. All is well now.

now correct me if im wrong, but while parting my green 96 someone contacted me concerning a DRL bypass box that was instlaled on all cars that didn't have a drl system?

I looked to where he said it was and I didn't find it. He said it was in/on/around the drivers side fender?

The DRL module is up under the drivers side fender just behind the bumper, so I would thknk that would be where the bypass mudule would be too. It should be right above the inlet to the saxacone, if you still have it.
