Run the EATC test. "Off" and "floor" together, than "automatic" and wait a minute or two, code 02 is your blend door.

If it is your blend door, the part is cheap (less than $70 if i remember) but replacing it is a serious pain, it involved pulling the dash back, I think the dealer will charge you $600 or so for the job.

You probably can only get that part from the dealer.

You can talk all you want about the Ford dealership but if it was your AC Blend Door Actuator that quit on you, you'll be knocking on the dealerships parts door because that is the only place you will find that part.

It is not that expensive anyway. About $35-40 depending on where you live and there is such a thing called FordPartsNetwork.com or 1stFordParts.com. If you'll let the dealership work on it then you're royally screwed b'coz of the labor (like the above post said). If you plan on tackling this by yourself, spend atleast half a day to get it right and make sure take in between warm ups inside the house (if you're working on a cold garage). It took me 2 hours last year January. But make sure you don't have any loose vacuum connection/tubes because the AC blend door actuator is activated by the vacuum system.

BTW, look for a TSB on the change of part numbers.

Replaced my AC blend door actuator back in September. Part cost $42.00. My local mechanic said it took hin about 1.5 hours. I was out the door for 130.00 including tax.

The actuator is a breeze... The blend door itself occasionally breaks. That is an entirely different ball game. And IMHO just by looks, without a labor book here 1.5 hours for an actuator seems steep.

Went back and checked my paper work for that repair. You're right venom it was 1 hour for labor. I also had the oil changed that's why it was 130.00.
