i was driving my green sho a little aggressively and then it started smoking. noticed that oil spewed all over the motor from the dip stick. so i cleaned it and figured it was because i left the dip stick loose. so i cleaned it and took the car out again. the car ran really rough and didnt have any power and then when i got back home i noticed that there was oil again. needless to say i think i burnt or blew one or more piston rings. im going to do something but i dont know yet.

PM me, I'll build you a motor to die for for short $$$. And yeah, you burnt up rings, it's deja vu of what happened last summer to me.

ya i know but it was fun while it lasted. maybe this time around when im done with the next motor, i'll keep up with more than just a bmw. it will take time and alot of money. actually just alot of money which is going to take most of the time, but i ll be starting that project very soon.

im going to miss the speed though while im doing that.

o ya i forgot to mention that i put a new pulley on that was having me hit 9psi between 1500-2500 rpm and 12psi between 6000-6500 rpm. the car was killa fast but i guess the motor couldnt handle the 12psi for a long period of time. or at least with out being preped right.

Suck to see that happen man. Your car was one of my favorites at the breakfasts.

On brakes:
Get some '99 - '04 Mustang GT front calipers and banjo bolts, PFC Carbon Metallic pads, and Earl's SS lines. Made a world of difference on my car, I kid you not.

On the motor:
I'm going to have a high mileage 3.0L that's in remarkably good condition, save for the little crank cancer issue. And missing intake cams. If your crank is in good shape, I'll let it go for a 12 pack of Heineken when it's out; you come and pick it up here in NYC. Might be a few weeks before this all transpires, though.

All the same, good luck with getting your car back in the mix. :thumb:
