ok well i pulled the lever to disengage my ebrake.... and the lever kept pulling out along with some cable. Now i only pulled it out a few inches, and i was scared to keep pulling. I assume that the cable on the ebrake release broke??? maybe? sooooo how do i go about fixing this, cuz i am scared shitless of engaging my ebrake, and then not being able to release it
Please help!

It's not the e-brake cable itself, it's the release cable inside the car. The cable could be broken or it could've just come undone. If you take out the small trim piece down by the pedal, you might be able to look around and see what happened. That cable is only a few inches long.
