I am getting no codes and the check engine light isnt coming on but my car still feels like it has a miss when idling and idles at 500 and when floored in parked only goes to 2500. When driving it fells like it has no power when u floor it. I just put new plugs and wires and they are on right and the correct firing order so im stumped at would it could be any help would be graetly appreciated.

Did you car experience these problems BEFORE you replaced plugs and wires, or has it developed since then?

If this developed after you worked on the car, I would double-check every connection, electrical and vacuum.

You say there are no codes, which can happen sometimes, but did you run the cylinder balance test when you tried to pull the codes?

Just to verify, you got the "111" codes indicating all was well, right?

Hmm. Lot of details left out...

Triple check the plug wire connections. Good chance they are incorrect.

Other high possibility is a bad ground on the crossover tube, especialliy if you removed it. If so, did you reinstall ALL the bolts?

How are you sure that you have the plug wires on correctly? Even Chilton's didn't get it right. Make sure they are ordered as shown in this topic.
