Ok, so I got the scan tool and ran the scan. Cylinder 7 was misfiring so i got a replacement coil and a back-up.I replaced no.7 and the car ran smoothly until a little bit ago. Im getting no engine light, no codes and I can feel the car missing subtlety and the tachometer is sharply going down about 70 rpm every time there is a miss. I plugged in my scan tool while running in the car and when Im idling at a light or parked; the miss-shudder happens. When Im at highway speed there is no miss firing or tachometer fluctuation.Has this happened before to anyone? Should I carry around spare tools just in case another coil goes?I'm needing some divine intervention from you V8 apostles!
