No 4th gear, in an MTX !!

Well, it finally happend. I magaged to lose 4th gear. I knew the 3-4 syncro was shot, but just the other day, 4th gear now has an attitude. When I try to put it into 4th, it will pop itself right out. every time. If i am lucky it will go in at low RPM otherwise, just once in a blue moon it will go. So as of now I am stuck going from 3rd to 5th. I am thinking it is time for a new tranny ? Any Ideas ?
