My friend is closing down his performance shop and he got 2 nitrous kits that he wants to get rid off he got a Zex kit, im not sure wut part number but its a dry kit with a 10lb bottle and a 50 shot nozzle. He can sell it to me for $250. He also got a NOS kit, so if anyone interested its also for the same price... Just PM me and I'll let him know taht u want it. I wunna buy the Zek kit from him but I also want to get a bigger nozzle. Now i got some q's. I know i gotta run 1* colder plugs, and wut about exhaust, shud I cut out the catalyc converters, cuz I dont wanna clog them up. Im also plannin on bolting on remus style mufflers. I know i will lose low end but high end shud improve a lil bit. Also have anyone installed wet kits on their SHO's? I wunna know how effective they are and how easy it is to drill holes in the manifold? All replies are greatly appreciated. Its an ATX, and its got a shiftkit which shifts from 1st to second when it hits the redline, its not supposed to do that right? Cuz if i'll be shooting a 75hp shot, and the fuel will cutoff in first gear, my engine wud get flooded and run lean right? Wut about gettin advanced timing? Will i need MSD ignition? For safer shots its better to have advanced timing, correct?

Val, don't even bother. 100k ATX tranny and juice don't mix. Buy them both, sell them both, and make a profit.

A dictionary would help tho. Re-read your post, its a mess. Its shunned upon unless your new, and you've been around enough now.

The Zex kit to use on our car is #82011. If it's a complete kit it should come with 3 different jets for 55HP, 65HP, and 75HP. Leave the cats on the car, it's not going to cause a problem with them. Leave your stock mufflers on the car, they are fine. Wet N2O kits are a BAAAAAD idea for SHO's unless you know ALOT about nitrous and they way our engines operate. You can probably count the amount of successful wet kits on SHO's on under one hand. I don't know about ATX's so I can't help you there. But IIRC the Zex NMU is going to be dumping fuel and N2O as long as you are WOT. You don't need an MSD ignition for the kit. And IIRC from the manual, you are supposed to retard timing when spraying not advance it. And for shots up to 75HP you should be safe without doing anything to the timing. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Under WOT the trans should shift to second at redline. If it's hesitating and hitting the limiter, do not install N2O.

Allright Im gunna check whats the PN tommorow. In case its different there's no way I can modify it 4 use on the SHO. I'll have to forget about wet kits, since I dunno nothing about N2O. Yes I meant to retard the timing not to advance, not to cause the premature detonation. He said that he could dynotune my car for that kit. How exactly do u retard the timing though? Its not just turning the camshaft # degrees? With the shifting problem, I can just shoot the N20 in second gear, i'd lose traction anyways if i shoot it in first. Im gunna have more questions tommorow, lol. Also I got an off-topic question. I found a cut on the side of my tire, which is about 1/8" deep on the sidewall and I didnt run on the curb or nothing, and have no idea how I got that cut its very very close to the tread but not touching it. Is it safe to drive with it? They are 2 month old H-rated tires.

I be;eive that the timing can be changed only through adjustable cam sorockets (www.shonutperformance.com) or by using a LPM or Tweecer unit that will change the timing in the cars computer. But I wouldn't worry about changing the timing at all.
As far as the cut in your tire, did it puncture the sidewall? Unfortunately sidewall punctures can't be plugged. If it's a small bit of tire missing I wouldn't worry about it, but you might wanna think about changing it before dragging.

I'll take a pic of it tommorow. Its on the rear tire, so there's no risk of blowing it while spinning, excessive braking, etc. Im just concerned about safety right now, dont want it to blow up when i'll be crusing at 75 mph on hwy. And the warranty won't cover it, because they always find their way out not to replace the warrantied item, they told me that I cut it by the curb or ran over something sharp on the road... So dont wanna buy a new tire, those are $100 tires...
