I bought an 89 SHO from a former member on here that had a ZEX Nitrous system installed. I'm going to install the system onto my 95, but had a question. After hours of reading on the forum, almost everyone says the jet should be mounted close to the MAF. His was tapped right after his throttle. After reading his few posts on here, it sounds like he blew up his first motor, and a year or two later blew up his other motor. I'm putting his intake on because it's ported and has BBB's along with Red Silicone Couplers. Anyway, I have read that if it is installed to close to the throttle that the nitrous doesn't distribute evenly. I also read though that there are a few people that have it tapped into the throttle and it's working fine. Just wondering if I should leave it and chance it, or plug it and install it right after the MAF?

If you wan to play it safe just put it midway between the two. Otherwise just leave it alone. Just make sure you don't use the stock rubber intake elbow to put the nozzle in to.

that's why I asked, because blowing could be happening with Wet kit. If you have dry, shouldn't be a problem, I think. But good thing you got answers.
