Nick, you still looking for a hood for the 89?

Do to certain circumstances...I no longer need the hodd off the 94 (hmmm, wonder why? ) Its yours if you want it. I can bring it to JAX next time we meet (which means I am driving the Explorer again) It looks pretty good except for some sap on it from sitting under a tree before I got it.

If its for the 89, wont fit... If I remember correctly the GEN II hoods are longer than the GEN Is, so itd stick out approx 4-6".

Sure Chris I'll take it, it'll work perfect, and don't woRry bout the tree sap, I've got stuff at work to take that off. And SHOMA you're correct, a gen2 hood will not fit on a gen1 without heave modification. But we won't go into dtails just yet.....

Its yours then Nick, I will set it aside. I noticed one small dent in it in the middle of the hood. Thats the only major thing I saw...plus the colors are identical.

Yeah, that's hot isn't it? And don't let him fool you about this project of his... I still don't completely know what he's up to and this car is sitting in my driveway! He changes his mind every 5 minutes so we'll see. I know he can definitely use the hood though.
